A large organisation finds lower compute spend from new cloud foundation

Background

This client was looking for a cloud service provider that could design and implement a landing zone in Azure and migrate their applications. They were specifically looking for enterprise-grade expertise for their landing zone setup and were keen on avoiding risk and minimizing downtime.

The challenge

The client wanted to deploy systems with less compute spend than their current infrastructure and migrate to Azure with a strong strategy and landing zone.

The solution

The landing zone was designed with a hub-and-spoke approach for a strong foundation. We developed multitenant virtual networks to isolate services and implemented Azure-native IAM policies with RBAC defined for each virtual network. We secured the networks with Palo Alto Networks and Azure firewalls, plus Microsoft Defender for endpoint security. We also implemented native Azure services for computer, encryption, storage, and backup.

The result

With Turing Cloud Services, the client got a new landing zone providing the capability to deploy systems with 15% less compute spend.
